The High Court of Gujarat has invited online applications for the recruitment of 212 Civil Judges in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Malik Mazhar Sultan & Anr. V/s. U.P. Public Service Commission & Ors., as reported in (2008) 17 SCC 703, and as per The Gujarat State Judicial Service Rules, 2005 (as amended from time to time).

A total of 212 regular vacancies (existing and future) are available for the post of Civil Judge. The pay scale for the position ranges from Rs. 77,840/- to Rs. 1,36,520/- along with admissible allowances as per government rules.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the educational and other eligibility requirements as per the Gujarat State Judicial Service Rules, 2005. Those who have not studied Gujarati as a subject in their Secondary (SSC) or Higher Secondary (HSC) examination will be required to appear for a Gujarati Language Test as part of the recruitment process.
